Celebrating 10 Years of New Directions and the Dedication of The Justin Plyler Dining Hall

New Directions celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and dedication of the Men's Shelter Dining Hall in honor of Justin Plyler. Mr. Plyler has supported us since our founding in 2013 and has been exemplary in his partnership, both personally, and through his business, the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove. We were honored by the presentation of a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Russell Fry's Office, remarks from Mayor Brenda Bethune and Mr. Plyler, and the testimonies of several clients and staff who shared what New Directions has meant to them. Thank you to the countless donors, faith partners, funders, partner agencies, and community members who came to celebrate with us, and to all who have made our mission possible these past ten years.
