Eric Rion Addiction Scholarship Fund

The Eric Rion Addiction Scholarship Fund provides the opportunity for those suffering from addiction to receive the help they need through scholarship into recovery programs where they will have the best chance of success. This fund is in memory of Eric Rion who passed away on February 28, 2023. Eric was a close friend of our Program Director, William Howsare, and together, they shared a passion for helping people experience recovery.

The Rion Family, Smith Family, and William Howsare established this fund to keep Eric’s memory alive and to continue helping those struggling with addiction just as he had done. His family and friends will always remember him for his sweet soul, kind heart, and desire to always be of help to others. Eric will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on through the lives that are changed thanks to the recovery provided by this scholarship fund.
