Shelter for Single Men
New Directions for Men offers shelter through our Pathways Program and Essentials Emergency Stay. Pathways is a structured, recovery-based program where clients work with case managers and peer support specialists to identify and address underlying issues of a crisis, to learn how to live again through classes and peer-led groups, and to resolve their crisis by securing a permanent, positive solution.
For more information, please call and ask to speak to a case manager or peer support specialist, or come in person on weekdays between 1-3pm.
Essentials Emergency Stay is available to men on first come, first served basis each night. Services are prioritized for local residents. Check-in is at 8pm at New Directions for Men at 1005 Osceola Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Community Dinner
A nightly to-go meal is available at our Men’s Shelter from 6:30-7:00 PM for anyone who is hungry. Meals available on a first-come, first-served basis at 1005 Osceola Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Showers, Laundry, & Case Management at New Directions Walk-in Center
Our Walk-in Center adjacent to the Men’s Shelter offers showers, laundry, hygiene, case management, from Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm. Services are available on a first-come, first served basis at 1005 Osceola Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Addiction Help
If you or someone you know is suffering from addiction, we are here to help. Please call us and ask to speak to one of our peer support specialists. We are here to help you find recovery from any substance use/abuse issue and connect with the program that is right for you.

Long Distance Transportation Assistance
If you are homeless and have family or other support systems elsewhere, we offer long-distance transportation assistance through bus tickets or gas card. To determine your eligibility, please call and ask to speak with a case manager or come in person to our Men’s Shelter on weekdays from 9 - 11am at 1005 Osceola Street, Myrtle Beach SC 29577.

Code Blue Overnight Inclement Weather Shelter *As Announced*
During inclement weather events such as freezing or heat advisories and severe storms, we open our Men’s and Women’s facilities beyond bed capacity to provide shelter from the elements. This service occur as announced.
