Realty One Dockside Project to Organize Family Shelter

The ONE Cares Group team took on a huge project to replace the current storage solutions in our Family Shelter dorms with a new set-up to best utilize the space. The agency provided the funding for the project and several agents donated their time, including Michele Hankey and Ron Bixby;

“We are doing this because when you live in a community you need to be a part of a community and give back at all levels, not just in ways that benefit you” - Michelle Hankey

“[We do this] because there are too many less fortunate than we are, and to help them, we can provide a great example. If we don’t, who will?” - Ron Bixby.

According to Tammi Cole, owner of Realty One Group, philanthropy and charitable service is part of their corporate identity “It’s just part of who we are, as a company. We have so many agents that want to do, we’re just helping give them an outlet to help do!”
