Tim, Tasha, & TJ’s Story

Tim, Tasha, and their son TJ came to our shelter with nothing but a suitcase. They had no income, transportation, or even identifying documents. Tim and Tasha quickly started working on their goals and were able to obtain their birth certificates, driver’s licenses, full-time jobs at Pepsi Bottling Co. and Walmart. They purchased a vehicle, despite the economic hardships during COVID-19. Thanks to their hard work, connections to resources, and the support system of a dedicated case manager and shelter assistance, Tim, Tasha, and TJ moved into their new apartment after a 148 day stay with us.
